Please use our ticket shop at www.fgsv-veranstaltungen.de to register for the congress. Payment can be made by transfer after receipt of invoice or by credit card or PayPal.
If making a bank transfer, please wait until you have received the invoice. In order to be included in the list of participants, you must register by 23 September 2024.
The registration fee is €455 for members of the FGSV, €495 for non-members, and €95 for students (students are requested to submit a copy of their student ID with their registration, age limit: 30 years). Once you have registered, you will receive confirmation of your registration and an invoice.
The congress fee includes participation in the events of the opening programme, lectures, drinks during the breaks, the lunch buffet on 23 and 24 October 2024 and a copy of the congress proceedings (will be published in time for the congress and distributed at the event).
An additional fee will be charged for the evening get-together. Participation in the opening event is free of charge.
Free cancellation is possible until 14 days before the start of the conference. After this date, a cancellation fee of €60 shall be charged. Anyone who has registered for the conference but is subsequently unable to attend may appoint someone to take their place. This can be done once only and is free of charge.

The exhibition is part of the German Road and Transportation Congress. The Road and Traffic Exhibition 2024 and the special exhibition '100 years of the FGSV: Roads to the future' is open free of charge to all congress participants, people accompanying them, and other visitors.
Leading companies, institutions and associations at the exhibition will highlight the latest engineering developments in the fields of transportation planning, traffic engineering, construction materials, road construction, environmental technology, digitalisation, and mobility strategies.
First-time attendees are also welcome: the exhibition offers excellent opportunities to build or consolidate their professional network.
Both the exhibition and the congress will take place in the World Conference Center Bonn (www.worldccbonn.com).

Driving to the World Conference Center Bonn [pdf, 834KB]
Bonn's 'Umweltzone' (low emission zone)
Due to its central location within the city boundaries, the WCCB is situated in Bonn's low-emission zone ('Umweltzone'). Since 1 July 2014, only vehicles carrying a valid green low emission zone sticker can drive in this zone. Travelling by public transport
Taking the tram/underground from Bonn Central Station (Bonn Hbf)
Take the tram/underground lines 63/16 or 66 (destination 'Bad Godesberg' or 'Königswinter/Bad Honnef').
Alight at the station 'Heussallee/Museumsmeile' and follow the signs for 'World Conference Center Bonn'. Walk about 450 metres along Heussallee to reach Platz der Vereinten Nationen.
Turn left onto Platz der Vereinten Nationen.
The main entrances to the WCCB are about 100 m away on the left-hand side (main building) and the right-hand side (plenary building).
Taking the bus from Bonn Central Station (Bonn Hbf)
Take the 610 or the 611 (destination: 'Pappelweg'). Both buses leave from bus stop C4.
Alight at the bus stop 'Deutsche Welle'. Platz der Vereinten Nationen is just a few metres away.
Turn left. The main entrances to the WCCB are about 100 m away on the left-hand side (main building) and the right-hand side (plenary building).
DB stop Bonn UN Campus
Regional trains (i.e. not IC or ICE trains) travelling towards Cologne and Koblenz stop here.
From here, walk about 750 metres to the WCCB (via Genscherallee and Heussallee).
The 610 and 611 buses also travel between the stops 'Bonn UN Campus' and 'Heussallee'.
Coming from Bonn-Beuel station (Bf Bonn-Beuel)
Participants can choose from several buses or the tram/underground. Please consult the websites of the 'Stadtwerke Bonn' or the 'Verkehrsverbund Rhein Sieg' to explore connections and options.

When events are taking place, taxis are allowed to drive onto Platz der Vereinten Nationen.
At present, access is only via Karl-Carstens-Straße.

Note on the accommodation tax in Bonn and Königswinter
The cities of Bonn and Königswinter charge an accommodation tax on all overnight stays (business and tourist trips). The tax amounts to 6% of the room rate in Bonn and 5% of the room rate in Königswinter (including VAT). This tax does not apply to other services, such as breakfast.
This tax is paid directly at the hotel and is not included in the room rate.
