The FGSV's performance depends on the joint work and co-operation of its members and their ability to work in teams. As a lively, active network, we offer anyone who is in any way interested in matters relating to roads and transport a strong community of renowned experts from all relevant disciplines. Within the FGSV, you can start up an open exchange with colleagues who face the same or similar challenges as you and contribute your personal expertise by joining one of our committees or working groups.

The FGSV's working groups, committees and other bodies are the beating heart of the association. Members of these groups work closely with each other to draw up the technical standards and specifications that are agreed with experts from a variety of disciplines and ensure reliability in the planning and implementation of projects in the road construction and transport sector.

International co-operation
The fostering of international co-operation in the road and transport sector is another important task for the FGSV. We have been tasked by the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV) with being the German national committee of the World Road Association (PIARC).
