The FGSV is the independent German network of expertise for research, knowledge transfer, and the drafting of binding technical standards and specifications for roads and transport by our committees and working groups. We offer anyone who is in any way interested in matters relating to roads and transport a strong community of renowned experts from all relevant disciplines. As a member, you play a decisive role in our performance and enjoy many benefits. Within the FGSV, you can start up an open exchange with colleagues who face the same or similar challenges as you. You can purchase technical standards and specifications, FGSV magazines, and tickets for events at considerably reduced rates. You can also contribute your personal expertise by joining one of our committees or working groups.

FGSV Verlag, our publishing arm, publishes and sells all our technical standards and specifications. No matter which technical standards and specifications relating to roads and transport you are looking for, you will find it on the FGSV Verlag website. 

Get involved in the work of the FGSV!

Join one of the FGSV's committees or working groups and contribute your knowledge and expertise to the drafting of technical standards and specifications, helping our community to pave the way for the transport system of tomorrow. Share your perspectives and findings from your personal area of activity and benefit from the open exchange. By the way: you don't necessarily have to be a member of the FGSV to work in one of our committees or working groups.

Not yet a member of the FGSV?

It really is worth considering. Membership for individuals costs only €41 per annum. Students pay only a quarter of this. This entitles you not only to attend the general assembly of members, which takes place once every two years, you also get one third off the price of technical standards and specifications, all FGSV publications, and all tickets to FGSV events. And what's more, you'll become part of a vibrant community.
