Specialist information

With our Information and Documentation Centre (IuD), we offer FGSV members and all interested parties high-quality specialist information resources in the field of road and traffic engineering and make them easily accessible through comprehensive services such as information searches. At the same time, we maintain the specialised literature database "Dokumentation Straße" and the research database "Forschung im Straßenwesen". In co-operation with BASt, we are also responsible for the German-language data input of the OECD's international information database "International Transport Research Documentation". All freely accessible for you.

With the fully online accessible specialised databases Dokumentation Straße, ITRD, FoSt and Info Rot, the FGSV offers you the opportunity to search centrally for specific road data from any location.

Bibliographic database with references to publications in Germany and abroad, supplemented by abstracts and indexed by an extensive classification system.

Bibliographic database on completed and current research projects in the field of road engineering.

FGSV Database Info Red
Short reports on completed research projects from the Joint Research programme of the BMDV and the FGSV as well as relevant research work by other bodies.

OECD database ITRD
International database of the OECD, in which the FGSV also enters its data.

The technical and scientific journals Road and Motorway (“Straße und Autobahn”) and Road Traffic Engineering (“Straßenverkehrstechnik”) have been organs of the FGSV since 1950 and 1957 respectively and are two of the most important German-language specialist road media.
