The German Road and Transportation Research Association (Forschungsgesellschaft für Straßen- und Verkehrswesen e. V., or FGSV for short) draws up the technical standards and specifications that apply to the entire road and transport system in Germany. It is Germany's independent network of excellence for research and knowledge transfer within the road and transport sector.
